Beside its design, the new Silicone strap convinces with functional properties such as durability, water resistance and good skin compatibility. Additionally it does not absorb odors or liquids and offers high wearing comfort.

I recently ordered the Outdoor with the silicone strap, and have been wearing it for a few days now. Along with the watch itself (which is superb), the strap is fantastic. Super comfortable and it looks great! Well done on the strap design–it suits this watch perfectly I reckon, and I have a feeling it’s going to last a long time, by the apparent build quality.
Would really like to see the new water resistant calf leather/rubber strap (as on the Sport Taucher) for this watch!

I agree with Alastair – the new hardened case Outdoor is very attractive but I would also love it if the new patterned calf/rubberized strap (as on the Sporttaucher) were available as an option for the Outdoor. Is the new Sporttaucher strap available to purchase separately as an accessory? The rubberized leather strap shown as an accessory on the Sporttaucher page looks slightly different, no crosshatch pattern.

For a while now I’ve been promising myself a mechanical wristwatch and I love the look of the Outdoor Protect. With its rugged build and hardened case I think it would suit me as I do a physical (not office) job. Being naturally curious I’m wondering what grade of the Sellita sw200-1 movement is fitted to these?

Thank you for your reply – I’m sure I will be ordering one very soon! I just need to do a little more research regarding wrist-to-watch sizes. Sadly I have thin (around 16.5 cm) wrists – making it hard to get nice, tough mechanical watches that don’t look ridiculous when I put them on! The Outdoors’ 38.5mm size might just be perfect, especially compared to the >40mm watches that seem to be the current fashion.

thank you for your message. We will offer a mat white version for the OutDoor but not full luminous again. Furthermore there will be mat dark green, mat red and mat sand / beige dials. Love the look and quality of the Outdoor (especially for the price). I was wondering if the watch would fit any 18mm leather strap given the unique barrel design of the case. I am interested in putting a worn and wound type II strap on it if possible. I will be ordering mine soon. Thanks for your time!

Yes, you can put a 18 mm strap on the watch. But please keep in mind that due to the special design of the case a 18 mm strap is only ‘within’ the lugs.
