The integrated minimalist design of the Defakto Kinetik has the aim to visually emphasize the interaction of transiting watch-hands.
All three watch-hands are connected to the ETA 2824-2 automatic swiss movement via three identical disks. The sweeping second brings continuous movement to the setup. Due to the look through ability of the watch-hands the watch offers a very good readability.
Designed with the same lineweight the angular, skeletonized watch-hands constantly frame indexes, create symmetrical pattern or interlace if superimposed.
The in-house manufactured, compact, three-piece stainless steel Ickler watchcase comes with a slightly brushed texture and has a diameter of 39 mm. The matte unicolor background of the dial contrasts sharply to the separated minute and hour indexes in contrary color.

October 8th, 2015 | Posted by in ARCHIMEDE | General - (27 Comments)Late but not too late the already announced limited edition of the Pilot Chronograph with the 7750 TOP Tricompax is coming into production now. The last missing parts are the rotors, which are specially designed for this edition. The Ickler made heat blued steel hands are finished and we have made a first test assembling:

The Klassik Chronograph has found many friend and we have not changed the design yet. Now we think it is time to adjust the appearance of the watch. Not a complete re-design but small changes.

NEW MACHINING CENTER FOR ICKLER

The new tapping center was delivered right before our summer vacation. Last week DMG made the basic installation and this week we will have in-house training about the new hard and software.
